Kristie LaFreniere, head trainer at Patriot Farms, is a seasoned industry professional with more than 13 years of instructional experience. A lifelong competitive rider and a graduate of Colorado State University’s prestigious Equine Sciences department, Kristie brings unsurpassed industry knowledge, a talent for teaching and a deep passion for horses to her position as head trainer.

Since 1996, Kristie has worked successfully with adults and children alike, teaching them the fundamentals of hunter/jumper riding skills. She also has extensive experience in farm management and the proper care of horses, having worked at various barns across the United States.

Kristie was a three-time officer, National and Invitational show competitor for the CSU Intercollegiate Equestrian Team. She has competed and placed top ten at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. She also is an American Quarter Horse Association Youth World individual qualifier and competitor.
